Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading or using the Sudoku app for Android, iPhone and iPad (the “App”) made by dowhiletrue.co (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for non-commercial purposes under these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

3. Accounts

• You can play as a guest; guest progress is stored on your device.
• You can sign in with Google, Apple or email to sync progress across devices.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account, or as described on the Delete account page.

4. Premium subscriptions and purchases

The App is free to play. Sudoku Premium unlocks extra features such as no ads, all Killer Sudoku puzzles, unlimited hints and undo, board themes and the daily challenge archive. Premium is offered as:

• Monthly and Yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. The Yearly plan may include a free trial for eligible new subscribers.
• Lifetime, a one-time purchase that does not renew.

Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may vary by country.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings (iPhone: Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions) or in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions. Deleting the App or your account does not cancel a subscription.
• If you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• You can restore purchases on a new device with Restore purchases in the App, using the same store account.

5. Ads

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob: banners, an occasional full-screen ad, and optional rewarded ads. We never show an ad in the middle of a puzzle. Premium removes all ads.

6. Leaderboards and fair play

If you take part in leaderboards, your username and scores are visible to other players. Usernames must not be offensive or impersonate others. You agree not to cheat, manipulate results, use bots, interfere with other players, or reverse engineer or modify the App. We may remove entries or accounts that break these rules.

7. Your content

Your game progress and statistics belong to you. By using cloud sync, you let us store and process this data to provide the service.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its code, puzzles, graphics, design and trademarks belong to dowhiletrue.co or its licensors. The App includes open-source components used under their own licenses.

9. Third-party services

The App uses services from Google (Firebase, AdMob, Play), Apple and RevenueCat. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them. See our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that leaderboards or statistics will always be accurate, or that cloud sync will always be available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of game progress, or failures of third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

12. Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue features and update these Terms; the date above shows the latest version. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms. You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

13. Apple App Store terms

If you got the App from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies. These Terms are between you and dowhiletrue.co, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App, its maintenance or support, or any claims about it, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

14. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection in your country. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
